The Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines will soon create a Disability Unit within the Ministry of National Mobilization to deal specifically with challenges of persons with disability.
This was revealed by Minister of National Mobilization, Keisal Peters, during an address to commemorate World Down syndrome Day.
Minister Peters said the Unit will offer specialized support and services for people with Down Syndrome and other conditions.
