Following the passage of Hurricane Beryl several ministries have partnered to provide psychosocial support to people who suffered loss and damage during the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
Speaking on the Talk Yuh Talk show on NBC Radio, Minister of National Mobilization and Social Development Keisal Peters said that the delivery of psychosocial support is a joint venture between the Ministry of National Mobilization, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health.
The Minister said that for younger children there is a program called
“Return to Happiness” which started during the 2021 volcanic eruptions.
