St. Vincent and the Grenadines joins the rest of the world in observing World Down Syndrome Day today.
And, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has called on all Cabinet members and Vincentians to “rock their socks” to coincide with the day.
Speaking on the Face to Face program yesterday, the Prime Minister said it is important for Vincentians to support persons living with Down Syndrome.
Since 2012, the United Nations has officially observed March 21st as Down Syndrome Awareness Day. This year it’s doing so under the theme: “End the Stereotypes”.
