Several activities will be held in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and other Regional Countries to observe Financial Information Month in October.
Financial Information Month is a regional financial, economic, business and entrepreneurial education campaign that was initiated in 2002.
The overarching theme for the month is Financial Empowerment Through Education and this year the area of focus is: Financial Advancement Through Enlightenment, Partnerships and Balance!
Speaking at a media launch this morning Deputy Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, Dr. Valda Henry highlighted the importance of the theme.
