Tom Brady said he “loved” his NFL career but insisted that now was time to focus his time and energy on other things that require his attention.
The legendary quarterback, whose career spanned 22 years and saw him win an unprecedented seven Super Bowl titles, officially announced his retirement from the game in a statement on his Instagram page on Tuesday.
Brady (44), won six titles with the New England Patriots, where he spent 20 seasons, before leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Trophy last year.
