Director of the Pan Caribbean Partnership Against HIV and AIDS (PANCAP), Dr. Rosmond Adams said concerted action is needed to ensure that St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the rest of the region can end the AIDS Pandemic by 2030.
Dr. Adams told NBC News, the Caribbean region has not yet achieved the targets set by the United Nations to tackle HIV and AIDS, but he is hopeful that these goals can be attained by 2030.
And he highlighted the steps that must be taken, for St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the rest of the region to meet the new HIV and AIDS Targets.
Dr. Adams explained that the spread of HIV/AIDS can be contained, if the HIV levels in the blood of persons who have tested positive can be reduced through the relevant medications.
