The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Service says a thick plume of Sahara Dust is currently crossing the island resulting in reduced visibility.
Forecaster at the Met Office, Gregory Cato told NBC News the intensity of the dust is expected to vary over the next few days.
Mr. Cato said residents should exercise caution as the Sahara Dust will affect visibility.
