Four suspects are now in Police custody, following a joint operation carried out here on the weekend, by the Coastguard Service, the Rapid Response Unit and the Narcotics Unit of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.
A release from the Police said the operation was conducted in the Prospect area on Sunday February 23rd.
The Police said, during the operation, the Officers seized: two (2) Glock 17 pistols and one (1) .357 Magnum revolver; twenty (20) rounds of .223 ammunition; six (6) rounds of .357 ammunition; twelve (12) rounds of .9mm ammunition; two (2) Glock 17 magazines and 3014 grammes of cocaine which is equivalent to just over 3 kilos of cocaine.
Four male suspects are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
