Louise Mitchell a prominent Female Lawyer in St. Vincent and the Grenadines has joined other Vincentians to condemn the incidences of Violence against Women in the country.
Miss Mitchell tells NBC News, it disturbs her to hear about these acts of violence against women from time to time and the entire society has a role to play in addressing this issue.
She said it is time that the entire society looks at the root causes of these acts of violence by men towards women and find solutions.
Miss Mitchell said the way conflicts are resolved in the country especially at homes and schools, has a large role to play in why some of the nation’s men are so violent to women.
She said the morals and values that children are taught growing up and the experiences which they are exposed to have a role to play in the types of adults they become.
