Several additional programs will be implemented by the Ministry of Education to improve the Reading Skills of Primary School Students in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Minister of Education St. Clair Jimmy Prince made this disclosure during his contribution to the Budget Debate in Parliament last night.
The Minister said Education Officials will make Reading activities a crucial part of the School’s Curriculum.
Minister Prince said a program dubbed BLOOM is being implemented to assist students with literary skills.
The Government has allocated $156 million in recurrent and capital expenditure to Education.
