Seven Primary Schools will participate in the 2019 Annual Courts Reading Competition, scheduled for today.
The participating schools are the Kingstown Anglican School represented by Raychad Arrindel; The St. Mary’s Roman Catholic School, represented by Kaleigh Davis; Georgetown Government School by Isaiah Toney; The Sugar Mill Academy represented by Selah Gonsalves; The Lowman’s Leeward Anglican Primary School represented by Jhamari Henry; Leeward District SDA by Ariella Spencere and The Mary Hutchinson Primary School, represented by JDira Regis.
The event took place at the Memorial Hall at nine this morning saw Raychad Arrindell of the Kingstown Anglican School emerge victorious, in the Courts OECS Reading Competition, hosted by the Ministry of Education.
Jhamari Henry of the Lowmans Leeward Anglican School took the second spot, while Isaiah Toney of the Georgetown Government School took the third spot.
