The Investment Promotions Agency Invest SVG will host a Cocktail Event tonight to unveil the National Wear of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Invest SVG held a National Wear Competition, to develop a National Outfit which represents St. Vincent and the Grenadines, both a Male and Female version as part of the National Independence celebrations last month.
The competition was open to Vincentian Designers at home and abroad and was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture and the Renewal at 40 Committee.
The Unveiling Ceremony will take place at the Prime Minister’s Residence at seven tonight.
There will be addresses from Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves; Minister of Culture Cecil McKie; former Minister of Culture Rene Baptiste and Executive Director of Invest SVG, Annette Mark.
The event will be broadcast live on NBC Radio.
