The New York Chapter of the Girls’ High School Alumnae Association will be providing educational support to one student entering the Girls’ High School in September this year.
The scholarship recipient will receive funding towards the purchase of books and uniforms, transportation and lunch.
Interested applicants must write an essay of no more than two pages clearly stating how the scholarship would address their financial needs while attending the Girls’ High School.
The Association said only applicants demonstrating an economic need for the scholarship will be considered.
All applications must be emailed to [email protected] no later than July 31, 2019. Any supporting document, such as a letter of recommendation, will be an asset.
The GHS Alumnae Association (NY CHAPTER) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote and participate in the academic and educational growth of current students of the St. Vincent Girls’ High School.
