The President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo left the state for Trinidad and Tobago, following a whirlwind visit to St. Vincent and the Grenadines yesterday.
The President and his delegation arrived at the argyle International Airport to a welcome ceremony, following which he was involved in several activities.
They included a Lecture at the SVG Community College; a Special Sitting of Parliament; A Tree Planting Ceremony at the Botanical Gardens and a Cocktail Reception.
Speaking at a Media Conference yesterday, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves announced the signing of a communique for the establishment of a Joint Commission between St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Ghana that will address a number of practical issues.
