Heads of Government from five Caribbean Countries attended a meeting on the Regional Airline, LIAT, was held here is St. Vincent and the Grenadines Saturday.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves chaired the Meeting at the Argyle International Airport from about 10:30 on Saturday morning.
The Prime Minister said discussions will be held regarding funding alternatives to ensure that the regional carrier continues to serve the Caribbean well.
Saturday’s meeting was also be attended by LIAT’s Executive Managers.
LIAT major shareholders are Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
