St. Vincent and the Grenadines will join the global community to observe International Women’s Day tomorrow under the theme Think Equal Build Smart in a Bid for Change
President of the National Council of Women Beverly Richards said persons must use the day to celebrate the achievements of Women around the world.
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force joins the local and global community in recognizing International Women’s Day 2019.
The President of the local chapter of Soroptimist International, Rene Baptiste saluted the Business and Professional Women of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Miss Baptiste said Soroptimist International remains committed to the development of Women in the Society, and is also concerned with social issues that affect all members of society.
Commissioner of Police, Colin John and all other Police Officers said they salute all women on this special day for their invaluable contribution to the development of our society in all spheres.
Special recognition goes out to all policewomen for their contribution to nation building and national security.
