A National Child Development and Adolescent Training Workshop will be held today and tomorrow at the Beachcombers Hotel Conference Room.
The OECS Commission Ministry of National Mobilization would convene the workshop in keeping with the objective of the Juvenile Justice Reform Project Phase Two which relates to diversion, rehabilitation and reintegration
The two day training workshop target several individuals, including Judicial Officers, Youth Representatives, Social Workers, Psychologists, Probation Officers, Case Management Officers, as well as all levels of Court Staff that work with family and youth
Principals and Teachers; Guidance Officers and Counsellors, Child Advocates, Lawyers, Mediators, Police Officers and Community Leaders will also attend the workshop
The training session will begin at 8:15 a.m. today and tomorrow.
