Jamel Douglas, a 31 year old unemployed resident of Old Montrose, has been arrested and charged with Wounding and Theft.
Police say Douglas allegedly wounded a 52-year-old Police Officer, by striking him in his face with an unknown object.
He is also accused of stealing one black Alcatel cellular phone and fifty dollars ($50.00) in cash, the property of the 52 year old Police Officer. The incident is alleged to taken place at about 9:45pm on Tuesday February 5th at Stoney Grounds, Kingstown.
Douglas was also arrested and charged for assaulting a 19 year old Bank Teller of Green Hill by striking him on his forehead with a piece of concrete block at Bentick Square, Kingstown at about 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday February 5th.
