Lawyer Israel Bruce took the Oath of Allegiance in Parliament today, as he was sworn in as a Senator for the Opposition New Democratic Party, NDP.
Senator Bruce replaces former Senator Marcia Barnwell, who has served as Opposition Senator for the last three years.
Congratulations were extended to the new Senator during today’s session.
