Issues related to the Tsunami-ready Project will be discussed tomorrow at a Public consultation in Calliaqua.
The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) will host the event at the Calliaqua Anglican School commencing at 5:00pm tomorrow.
Director of NEMO, Michelle Forbes tells NBC News, the nation recently received funding from The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and in the New Year these funds will be used to develop a plan for Tsunami Hazards, mapping and evacuation planning.
She is encouraging everyone in Calliaqua and surrounding communities to be a part of tomorrow’s Consultation.
