The SVG Bar Association and the Medical Association is partnering to hold a major two-day symposium here this weekend.
President of the SVG Bar Association, Rene Baptiste tells NBC News, the symposium will focus on the topic “Sexual Assault in the Caribbean, Forensic, Medical and Legal Challenges”.
Miss Baptiste said this is a very crucial issue throughout the entire region and they hope to have it addressed by a number of professionals in their various fields, during the symposium.
This weekend’s symposium which will be held on the topic “Sexual Assault in the Caribbean, Forensic, Medical and Legal Challenges” will take place on November 16th and 17th, and the program will have a number of high level local, regional and international speakers.
Miss Baptiste said the symposium will cover a wide range of topics and participants for the symposium will be drawn from all levels across the society as they seek to have complete coverage to address Sexual Assault and other issues going forward.
