The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is appealing for parents and teachers to work closer together to ensure the holistic development of the nation’s children.
This appeal was made by Minister with Responsibility for Co-operatives, Frederick Stephenson during the opening session of a recent training seminar.
The session was hosted by the General Employees Co-operative Credit Union (GECCU) for Teacher Guides in the thirty-one schools which the organization sponsors.
Minister Stephenson said as the nation leaps further into the technological age, there is a greater need for parents, teachers and other authoritative figures to work closer together to guide the youths on the right path.
He said continued collaborative efforts between parents and teachers always leads to children being successful in their educational pursuits.
