The Annual Literary Fair, spearheaded by the University of the West Indies Open Campus will be held next week under the theme “The UWI: Celebrating 50 years of literary excellence and leadership”.
The Fair will be held at the National Public Library in Kingstown from October 8th to 12th, in collaboration with the Vincentian Association of Artists Writers and Producers.
Head of the UWI Open Campus, Deborah Dalrymple, said the University is seeking to educate Vincentians about the importance of reading and literature, through the staging of the Fair.
She said the event is in keeping with the UWI’s mandate to promote and preserve the literary arts and encouraged the participation from all sectors of the society.
