The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is appealing to Minibus Operators and persons driving private vehicles to comply with the Noise Act which governs loud music in their vehicles
Corporal Wendell Corridon made the appeal, during the On the Beat program aired on NBC Radio, last night.
Corporal Corridon said the Traffic Department has observed that motorists turn their music down when they are entering Kingstown and other areas where there is a high Police presence.
But he pointed out that the music is turned back up, when persons travel away from Kingstown, disturbing other members of the public
Corporal Wendell Corridon said the Police Traffic Department has devised a number of measures to address the issue of loud music in vehicles, in the outer districts.
