The Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre said it will be holding a wide range of activities over the next two years as they continue with their program aimed at re-integrating Mental Health into the Primary Health Care System.
Acting Senior Nursing Officer at the Centre, Sister Elizabeth Medford said they are currently holding a number of training exercises and health fairs and the work will continue.
Sister Medford said they also continue to receive good feedback and responses from members of the public when they hold their sensitization programs.

Sister Medford said they will be holding another health fair on September 27th in Barrouallie.
She said they are also continuing to hold a series of training exercises focusing on De-escalation Skills, to equip Police Officers with the necessary skills to interact with mentally ill persons.
Sister Medford said they will also be holding a workshop for close relatives and friends of mentally ill persons to further educate these members of the public about how they can ensure that their loved ones receive the best care after they leave the Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre.
