St. Vincent and the Grenadines and other Regional Countries are beginning to experience economic growth following the global financial crisis.
That’s the view of Vincentian Economist, Dr. Garth Nicholls while delivering the Sister Patricia-Ann Douglas Lecture on Monday at Frenches House.
The lecture was held as part of activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the St. Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua, formerly the Marriaqua Secondary School.
The topic for discussion is: “What must small states such as those in the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union do to ensure economic growth?”
Dr. Nicholls said the growth in the economy was due in part to some policy reforms.
