Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said the Government has already identified alternative areas where residents of Rose Place will be relocated to when work begins on the Port Modernization Project which is to be implemented at Rose Place in Kingstown
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves provided an update on the status of the project, as he responded to a question during last week’s meeting of the House of Assembly, noting that the project will cost approximately 100 million U.S dollars.
The Prime Minister said work on the project has been progressing smoothly thus far.
He says a number of consultations have already been held to get feedback from the residents of Rose Place regarding the project and the relocations.
