The World Pediatric Project (WPP) has cancelled its General Surgery mission to St. Vincent and the Grenadines which was scheduled to be held this week.
WPP Director for the Eastern Caribbean – Jaqueline Brown-King told NBC News, the cancellation is due to the impending weather systems.
Mrs. Browne-King said the medical team was scheduled to arrive in the state today, but this medical mission will be rescheduled to a later date.
Mrs. Brown-King said the upcoming Speech Therapy Mission which would have been the third mission for this month to St. Vincent and the Grenadines is still scheduled to take place from later this week into next week, once all goes well with the weather.
