Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has hinted at the possibility of Churches to begin a National Conversation on the issue of homosexuality in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Speaking at a Media Conference yesterday, the Prime Minister said there has been a history of discrimination against Gays and lesbians and the Church as an Institution, should consider holding public discussions on the issue.
The Prime Minister said the issue should be placed in a wider context with the involvement of the Christian Community or Non-Governmental Organizations.
He was speaking in light of an incident where three males, dressed as females were reportedly physically assaulted because of their sexual orientation.
