A White Coat Ceremony will be hosted here today at the Russell’s Cinema, by the Trinity Medical Sciences University.
The ceremony will be presided over by Dean Dr. Linda Adkinson and will hear welcome remarks from Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves; and President of Trinity, Steven Wilson.
The feature speaker will be Dr. Richard N. Scott, graduate of Harvard College of Medicine and founder and former Surgeon-In-Chief of the Washington Cardio-Vascular Institute in Washington D.C.
The students will listen to the “Graduates Message to Incoming Students” then they would be inducted into the field of Medicine when they receive their White Coats, symbolizing Trinity’s faith in and support for each medical student.
This ceremony also marks a significant milestone for Trinity Medical Sciences University, which celebrates its 10th anniversary as a medical institution here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
