The Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre will host an open day this week, to sensitize the public on the importance of Mental Health.
Acting Senior Nursing Officer at the Centre, Elizabeth Medford said the Open Day will take place on Thursday July 26th and said the main objective of this Thursday’s Open Day will be to showcase to members of the public the work which they do with patients at the Centre.
Sister Medford said they will also be showcasing items which are being made by patients at the Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre which they can use to gain meaningful employment when they are reintegrated into society.
Sister Medford is also appealing to members of the public to support and attend the Open Day this Thursday so they can have a better understanding of Mental Health and how they can assist those who are affected by it.
