The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard Service is preparing to hold a special Week Of Activities next month as part of its Annual Summer program.
Petit Officer and Co-ordinator of the Program, Damien Franklyn says this year’s program which kicked off last week is being held under the theme “Shaping Our Youths for Life’s High Seas” and will wrap up on August 21st.
Petit Officer Franklyn says the special week of activities will run from August 8th to the 13th and it will have a series of public outreach programs to sensitize members of the public about the summer progam.
He is also appealing to former participants of their summer program and members of the public to be a part of the week of activities.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard Service annual summer program caters for children between the ages of 14 to 18.
