The huge influence of the late Nelson Mandela in the global arena was highlighted here this week, by Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Luke Browne.
Minister Browne spoke on the life and times of the international Icon, as he presented the Nelson Mandela Centennial Lecture on Monday night.
The presentation focused on the topic: Renewing the Mandela Legacy And Promoting Active Citizenship.
Minister Browne noted that Mr. Mandela, a Freedom Fighter and former President of South Africa, was an international role model.
The lecture was presented under the patronage of the High Commissioner of South Africa to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Xoliswa Ngwevela.
