The curtain will come down on the locally organized Nelson Mandela Centennial activities, with a Recognition Ceremony hosed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Commerce and Trade.
The brief ceremony will be held at the Foreign Affairs Conference Room from ten this morning.
It is being held to recognize all those who were involved in the Centennial activities.
The Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines has been hosting forty days of activities to coincide with the global centennial celebrations of the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela.
The activities included a Lecture, the showing of the film Invictus at the Russell’s Cinema, a Nelson Mandela Dress Day, and a ceremony for the re-naming of the South Leeward Highway to the Nelson Mandela Highway.
The activities were spear-headed by an Inter-Ministerial Committee.
