Residents of Lauders were in a celebratory mood, following the official opening yesterday afternoon of the Lauders Community Road, which was constructed at a cost of 643-thousand dollars.
The road was constructed by the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Caribbean Development Bank, through the Basic Needs Trust Fund, BNTF.
Addressing yesterday afternoon’s opening ceremony, Parliamentary Representative for the area, Saboto Caesar said the road was constructed, in keeping with the Government’s Policy to make farms more accessible.
Minister Caesar said he is grateful for the completion of the road, as it will make life much easier for the farming community in Lauders.
