The Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) has made an appeal to Dick Jockeys (DJ’s) across the country to play ALL of the music which has been produced for Vincy Mas 2018
This appeal was made by CEO of the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC), Ashford Wood during a News Conference hosted by the Carnival Bands Association (CBA) last week.
Mr. Wood said a lot of great music has been produced for this year and while the radio stations are playing the music, there are some DJ’s who have been displaying a bias
Mr. Wood said it has been brought to their attention that the DJ’s are playing only their music or their friends’ music and the CDC will not allow this type of bias to continue.
He says they have already held meetings with the Rural Carnival Committees to hire DJ’s who will be playing everyone’s music and not just some.
