The result was announced during the Closing Ceremony for this year’s Fisherman’s Month of Activities, held at the Fisheries Conference Room this afternoon.
Mr. Matthews brought in 928 pounds of fish, to take the top prize of one 75-horsepower yamaha outboard engine, as well one trophy, one case of outboard oil; and a case of Guinness.
Second was Michael Cordice with 865-pounds of fish, while Cliff Young was third with 495.5-pounds of fish.
