Heavy emphasis is being placed on communication, as work continues on the development of a Disaster Management Plan for the Constituency of South Central Windward.
Parliamentary Representative for the Constituency, Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar said a Radio Station called “Common Sense Radio” will be launched in the constituency, to facilitate communication during a Natural Disaster.
Minister Caesar said satellite phones will also be made available to individuals who are located in strategic areas in the constituency, to ensure that communication is maintained if a Disaster strikes.
