Police are investigating the sudden death of Jetonnia Thomas, a 32 year-old resident of Keartons, Barrouallie.
The Police said they were called to the home of the deceased by her common law husband Paul Stephens of the same address, who found her motionless at 5:56 am yesterday.
Police said Jetonia Thomas was discovered lying on her back in the Living Room. There were no visible marks of violence on her body.
District Medical Officer, Dr. Yaphet Shoy was informed and he visited the scene and pronounced Thomas dead at 8:25 am.
The Coroner, Zoilla Ellis-Browne was also informed and she gave permission for the removal of the body. The body was then transported to the Kingstown Mortuary where a post-mortem is expected to be performed on Monday May 14, to ascertain the cause of death.
