Supervisor of Elections Sylvia Findlay spent her last day on the job today, as she prepares to go into retirement, after nine years of service in the position.
In an interview with NBC’s General Manager, Dionne John, Ms. Findlay said, despite the challenges, it has been a rewarding experience.
She noted that there have been some improvements in the operations at the Electoral Office and advised the incoming Supervisor of Elections to be guided by the laws governing the electoral system in the country.
The new Supervisor of Elections will be sworn in on Wednesday.
