The advancements of Students with Special Needs on Mainland St. Vincent were celebrated at a Graduation Ceremony yesterday.
Twenty students from the Schools for Children with Special Needs in Georgetown and Kingstown graduated at a combined ceremony at the Wilson Hill Church of God.
Dressed in their Navy Blue Gowns, the students sang “I’m the World’s Greatest” by R. Kelly and delivered an Original Choral Speech.
In her Address at the Graduation Ceremony, Principal of the Kingstown Branch, Naseem Smith, encouraged the graduates to strive for excellence amidst the challenges.
Ms. Smith also paid special recognition to Terrence Davis, a Teacher’s Aide at the Kingstown location, for his sterling contribution.
