Minister of Finance and Economic planning, Camillo Gonsalves, says the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines does not condone any incidence of domestic violence.
He made the point during a news conference yesterday, which was held to discuss of national concern, including the government’s handling of the Sehon Marshall issue.
Mr. Marshall, who serves as a Counsellor for the SVG Permanent Mission, was relieved of duty yesterday for his alleged involvement in an altercation with his wife in Brooklyn on Thursday.
Minister Gonsalves said the government condemns domestic violence in all its forms.
