Members of the New Testament Church of God, in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia and Dominica are reaching out to assist their Caribbean neighbours who have been impacted by Hurricane Irma,
A release from the Church says a Special Hurricane Irma offering will be taken in each of the Churches this Sunday, during morning worship Services.
Each Pastor and leader of the Churches will also be making a personal financial contribution that will go directly to a Church of God World Mission Caribbean Hurricane Relief fund to be distributed to affected islands through the New Testament Church of God Caribbean Office.
The Church said it recently launched its Total Care Ministry to better respond to the social, economic and emotional needs of its people.
However it said the devastation of Irma has caused it to direct its attention regionally as members reach out with compassion to their Caribbean neighbors.
Vincentians and other persons who wish to contribute to this effort and may not me attending a New Testament Church of God Service this Sunday may contact the National Office at 451-2818 to make their contribution.
