The Forestry Services within the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Transformation, Forestry and Fisheries is celebrating Forestry Focus 2017 during the month of September this year.
The celebrations will be held under the theme “Valuing our Nation’s Forest” and slogan the “There is more to our forest than what meets the eye – See, Explore and Understand”.
The month of activities will begin with a church service on Monday 11th September at the Campden Park Baptiste Church and ends with a Social event on Friday 29th September, 2017.

Staff Field Training at Eyry Hill – Wednesday 13th.
Visits to Union Island for School Program – Thursday 14th.
School Tree Planting Exercise – Friday 15th.
Community Consultation at Perseverance – Monday 18th.
Open Day/Exhibition – Wednesday 20th.
Women’s Day (TBA) – Friday 22nd.
Community Consultation at Cumberland – Monday 25th.
Forest Walk from Vermont to Layou- Wednesday 27th.
Turtle Watch at Colonaire Beach – Thursday 28th.
