A Trainer of Trainer Course on Best Manufacturing Practices, which is being held as part of a Fruit Drying Project will conclude today, at the VincyFresh Processing Facility at Diamond.
It’s the second in a series of courses implemented under a South-South Co-operation Project, through the Government of Colombia.
The course which commenced on August 21st involves 30 participants – drawn from the Department of Adult and Continuing Education and the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers.
The implementation of the project is expected to contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations between St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Columbia.
The other courses will look at Fruit Drying and Processing of Fine Chocolate.
The first course on Cocoa Cultivation for Local Producers and Extension Workers was held from August 13th to the 17th.
The courses are being implemented by the National Learning Service of Colombia (SENA).
