The General Employees’ Co-operative Credit Union Ltd will host its Annual Youth Leadership Symposium today and tomorrow.
The symposium takes place at the Anglican Pastoral Center in New Montrose, under the theme “ Gen Z: Credit Union A gents for Change ”
GECCU says in a Media Release that the objective of the symposium is to expose our scholarship holders to the core principles of co-operatives through various presentations and team building exercises.
It also aim to educate the students using different topics that will have a positive impact on their lives.
An official opening ceremony will be held at nine this morning and will include remarks from President of GECCU – Gary Matthias and Chairperson of the Scholarship Committee – Dr. Mineva Glasgow.
