The Tropical storm warning which was in effect for St. Vincent and the Grenadines, has been discontinued.
This is according to the latest advisory by the local Met Office. At 11 am this morning, Tropical Storm Harvey moved pass the Windward Islands about 15 miles south-southwest of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and 50 miles south-southwest of St. Lucia, bringing with it heavy rain and gusty winds to the Windward Islands.
Tropical Storm Harvey may pose a threat early next week in parts of Central America’s Caribbean coast.
Slow strengthening is expected this weekend as Harvey tracks through the Caribbean Sea today, and into the Central Caribbean Sea tomorrow Saturday August 19th.
