The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident that took place in Redemption Sharpes on Saturday.
It has been reported that Kareem Charles, 26-year-old labourer of Redemption Sharpes was walking along the public road when he sustained gunshot wound to the left side of his face, hip and elbow by an unknown masked man.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old Junior Biddy, a labourer of same address was in the same vicinity when he heard the shots. As a result he ran and sustained a broken left leg.
Both men are patients at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
The Police are also investigating the circumstance surrounding the attempted murder of Monique Clarke, 45yrs, domestic of Biabou which occurred at Biabou on Sunday.
Reports are that Clarke was involved in a dispute with a young man.
She sustained severe burns about her body after a liquid substance was thrown on her. Clarke is a patient at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
A young man is in custody assisting the police with their investigations.
