COMPUTEC Masters beat Richland Park Pride and Joy 5-1 yesterday afternoon in the Hairoun Diamonds Football Championships at the Diamonds Playing Field.
Deomaji Samuel netted two of the goals for COMPUTEC Masters, and there was a goal each by Troy Browne, Shemol Trimmingham and Shane Daniel.
Orlando Trimmingham scored the goal for Richland Park Pride and Joy.
The other scheduled match between SV United of Georgetown and Brownstown United was postponed because both teams had a match in the National Championships.
At 4:30 this afternoon, Chapmans United will meet Progressive Youths of Georgetown also at the Diamonds Playing Field.
Meanwhile, Bonadies defeated Gaymes Pharmacy 4-1 in yesterday’s opening match of the Digicel/St. Vincent Brewery Breakaway Firms Invitational Football Championships at the Grammar School Playing Field.
Kalique Hunte, Julian Trimmimgham, Michel Culzac and James Ashton netted a goal each for Bonadies.
The goal for Gaymes Pharmacy was scored by Shin Boyea.
Largo Height beat the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police 4-2 in Saturday’s opening of the Championships to win the President’s Cup.
Today at 4:45 pm, KFC will meet SVG Port Authority also at the Grammar School Playing Field.
