Young people throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines will have the opportunity to build on their sporting and entrepreneurial skills through their enrollment in the Luke’s Kids 2017 Summer Programme and it will be held under the theme “COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD”.
The Programme, now into its seventh (7th) year, with just over 15 hundred children involved, having already attended, promises to be an exciting one.
This year’s programme caters to children between the ages of 4 to 11 and 12 to 15, and they will be involved in a variety of activities including art and craft, painting, sports, field trips, games and group assignments.
During this morning’s launch, Luke Browne, Founder of Luke’s Kids Club, said the summer programme is an opportunity for the children to gain knowledge.
Meanwhile some of the Volunteer Teachers told NBC News that the programme is geared towards providing the children with information which they can take back to their classrooms for the New School year.
During the programme, the children will also be taken on a visit to the Argyle International Airport and field trips to the Grenadines as well as to a Boot Camp at the Old Montrose Police Station.
The children will also learn about other cultures from countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and Haiti.
